The lustre of the Olympic Games has not been tarnished this week as Channel Seven retains its ratings lead.

Channel Nine, once again, snuck in to attain 2nd place with three placements in this week's Top 20.

With networks now breathing a sigh for the Olympic closure, and with four years to undo the damage 7's colossal coverage did to their Nielson numbers, we can expect a reprieve from the reruns of television shows as they each let loose with their own ratings gold...
