I am a long time supporter and watcher of Channel 7 – especially the Sunrise program. I have defended them against people who thought that the Channel 9 crew were better. I have now decided that I cannot watch Sunrise any more and would like to let you know why.

A while ago there was some chatter around the Sunrise table about Natalie Barr’s cat attacking wild birds around her house. Her reply to this was “they should fly faster”. I decided then that I did not like her attitude to wildlife but still kept watching. Nothing was said to her about that comment.

Then, on Monday, David Koch told Samantha Armitage that she was “well endowed”. There are no words to describe how bloody rude that was. Again nothing was said to him. His attitude is the main reason I will not watch Sunrise again. He has become too opinionated and I seriously think someone needs to tell him that he has no right pushing his old fashioned ways. I applaude Kylie for taking him on after he told her she was a namby pamby parent.

In summary, you have an animal hater and a man who doesn’t really care if he upsets anyone or not being the face of Channel 7 in the morning. I am sorry but the Channel 9 crew are better at the moment.
