I accuse you of abuse of people by taking advantage of their difficulties under the guise of news. Some people use words like disreputable to describe presentations such as yours in your news program, descriptions which, if substantiated, should lead to your organisation withdrawing from broadcasting.

I use these words to describe your late news at 11.30 Adelaide time, 7 April 2011. I ask you to examine whether you are breaking your code of responsibility as a news reporter and, if you are judged as disreputable, that you notify the regulator that you are an unfit organisaton.

In making this accusation, I challenge you to employ a panel of independent ethicists to judge you, while at the same time making this accusation public.
