I watched the return of Desperate Housewives Monday night. I was amazed at the amount of ads run during the show. By my count we had 4-5 minutes of show then 4 minutes of ads. Over the course of an hour of viewing I figured we got approx 36 minutes of the actual show. Maybe I would be better off taping the show in future so I can fast forward through the ads and save myself approx 24 minutes every hour.
