Thumbs down Lipstick Jungle Explicit Ad

On Thursday 19th of June 2008, my son and I were watching Home and away when the ad for the new show "Lipstick Jungle" came on.

Look, I view myself as pretty liberal, however I thought this ad was really too much.

Showing this in time slot where many young people watch is really in poor taste.

I really don't care how much money or ratings are made from this show.

Please have some sense and show this in a much later time slot.

It was just to sexually explicit for a 9 year old to see.

I was watching Home and away with my 10 yr old this week and was shocked to see this commercial which was very racey.

I don't think that during a family program those sorts of commercials should be shown. The ad itself was snap shots of a man ripping at a womans clothing etc etc... and I was almost embassed sitting there with my son silently hoping he wouldnt asked too many questions.

Please be more careful showing ads that are not suitable for children at a later time than between 7pm and 7.30pm.
