I have two points of feedback to give to Channel 7 Melbourne:

1. Weekday weather with David Brown. David is great and beats Rob Gell hands down. I've noticed your new weather report for around Melbourne for the next day and there isn't any expected temperature for the north west area of Melbourne. You used to have Tullamarine on the map last year. But what about those who live say in Essendon, Pascoe Vale, Coburg etc?

2. The Australian Open Tennis is great every year and is the only sport I choose to watch. Only criticism is the American commentator, Jim, who has proved in the past he's a bit of a womaniser. But apart from that, I don't like he's critique or commentary. Please bring back John McEnroe who provides lots more entertainment along with his professionalism. You had him at the Open's drawer and I hoped he would be here for the whole Open. Maybe John McEnroe for next year?

I rarely watch commercial tv; cant stand the ads!! I watch 2 programs on 7. City Homicide and Packed Rafters, if live, I channel surf when ads on! (Often record anyway on VCR tape).

Occasionally record BHG., and watch one small section. As Debbie Enker stated on 3L0 recently; telling me what I am watching assumes I am stupid; telling me what is coming up is a waste of time - as I a.- am not interested; b.- am intelligent enough to read the Green Guide listings!!

Used to enjoy 24; until you mucked around with timing so much - I got relative to download it - great, no ads!! Now I see its on digital; useless; I dont have set top box; and could not record it anyway if not at home. Useless!!

TENNIS - I never watch 7 news; and am disgusted that you stop tennis match to show the news. The viewers you lose for not showing news would be replaced by those who want the tennis !!

I also consider the comments by commentators about upcoming programes so inane, I turn the sound down, so dont hear it.

It is very poor that you often allow the ads to run over; therefore missing the first point or two of next game; complete disrespect for your viewers, the players!!

I have also made my feelings known to the advertisers who are shown during the tennis.

Perhaps you can improve your efforts during the remaining matches?? Then again; perhaps you don't really care ? Maybe the new survey process will show just how many of record to watch later - I'm sure we dont sit thru ads unnecessarily!!
